The purpose of a finance major is to build on the foundation of the business core to enable the learner to utilize appropriate theories to operate in various areas of the financial marketplace. At least 15 credits in this major must be earned in courses numbered 300 or above from a four-year institution. A minimum 2.0 GPA in the major is required for graduation.
