This course of study focuses on the acquisition of computer information systems
knowledge and skills. The program is designed for individuals seeking computer
skills to increase their job opportunities in their current careers or to pursue
new careers. The diploma program also is advantageous to students desiring early
entry into the job market, preparing students for entry-level computer
positions.
Students enrolled in the diploma program are required to take
twelve information systems courses. Within this curriculum, students have the
option of choosing an emphasis in: Computer Security, Database Developer,
Database Management, Homeland Security and Information Systems, Internetworking
Technology, Networking, Programming, Security Administration, and Web
Development.
