The Associate of Applied Science program Human Resources program trains students to:
- maintain personnel records of an organization's employees
- assist with internal and external notification of position openings
- assist in the hiring process
- answer employee questions
- prepare reports for managers
- administer aptitude tests, and screen applicants.
Students may also take courses in Accounting, Principles of Business, Economics, Business Office Procedures, Career Development, Communication, Strategies for Success, Human Resources Law, Business Math, Records Management & Security, Management Training and Development, Group Dynamics, Leadership, Employee Benefits, and Psychology.
