Colorado Tech Online's BSIT degree program with a concentration in Security is taught by IT professionals with real-world skills. In addition to important undergraduate foundation studies, students will learn to analyze security policies and evaluate risk assessment techniques. They will also be challenged to explain security principles, concepts and techniques and develop, implement and analyze disaster recovery plans.
The BSIT degree program with a concentration in Security is designed to help prepare students to take advantage of an increase in the demand for qualified IT professionals with industry-current skills and knowledge and to pursue such positions as Disaster Recovery Analyst, IS Security Manager, Network Security Engineer, and Contingency Planning Analyst.

Colorado Tech Online students with no previous college or military training can complete the BSIT degree program in about 2 ¨ö years. Students with prior college credit, military experience or an Associate's degree may be eligible for the Colorado Tech Online Baccalaureate Degree Completion Program. In some cases, this may shorten the length of the program to 15 months.
