The Computer Aided Design and Drafting program prepares graduates for
entry-level positions in CADD operations. The program offers a combination of
mechanical and computer-aided drafting and design skills for application in a
variety of industries.
Upon successful completion of the program, students are
able to: Prepare detail drawings Prepare assembly drawings Draw machinery and
mechanical devices Use manual drawing/drafting board Operate and utilize CADD
software Indicate dimensions and fastening methods Produce solid model drawings
Operate a variety of computer software programs Entry-level Employment
