Healthcare Office Specialist is a 34 week program offered at the Provo campus.
Students acquire the skills necessary to perform the duties and functions of a
specialty administrative assistant or office manager for physicians, dentists
and any other healthcare or general office environment. Graduates may sit for
the CPC credentialing exam and the NCCT credentialing exam for Medical Office
Assistant and Insurance and Coding Specialist.
The Healthcare Office
Specialist program is 35.5 semester hours in length. It consists of 30 weeks of
classroom training followed by an externship of about 4 weeks (160 hours) for a
